Naba Academy | The Beast | Rotoscope movie
The movie is a rotoscope-animated short film in step 3 encapsulated in a minute-and-a-half trailer compromised of about 800 hand-drawn frames. It is the story of a woman with unusual problems.
It's made by 4 guys with a lot of enthusiasm. Firstly, we found the idea and story and develop the character. Secondly, we shoot the movie and split the film into frames. Last but not least we cover up all the frames.
We create "The Beast".
The protagonist is Alice who suffers from bipolar disorder. Living in Chicago, as usual, after committing the umpteenth murder, she makes her way back home. The illness that she has is shown by a transformation which stabilises step-by-step as she approaches her house. Gripped by guilt feelings, she starts to think about what she did until her husband returns home.
